What to do: Read our explanation carefully. Use a credit card only. Consider asking the seller for additional proof of identity.
AVOID

We found strong evidence this is not a legitimate seller. Please do not send any money or personal information to this seller. We'll explain exactly what we found.

What to do: Do not purchase. Report the seller to the platform where you found them. If you've already sent money, contact your bank immediately.

How long does it take to get my result?
Most results come back within 4 hours. Borderline cases that need a deeper human review can take up to 24 hours. Guardian plan members get priority results — usually within 1 hour. We'll email you if your case is taking longer.
I already sent money. What should I do?
Act quickly. Call your bank or credit card company immediately and report the transaction as fraud. Then file a report at reportfraud.ftc.gov.
